Q. What computer Do I need to run this on?
A. PC Compatible running Windows version 3.11 or higher
- 256 Color Display or Higher
- Recommended system Pentium PC,16 MB RAM
Q. I downloaded the MOPy fish Program from http://www.hp.com/go/fish now what do I do?
A. You need to run this program in order to install your MOPy Fish.
Q. When should I get MOPy points?
A. If you select a Color Printer you should get 40 points for each print job.
If you select a Non Color Printer you should get 20 points if you print more than one copy.
Q. I have printed 2 Copies, but still I get no points, whats going on?
A. Try unchecking the collate copies option.
Q. My Fish is Dead, now what?
A. You can resurrect your fish from the configure icon - bring fish to life - but you will lose all your
MOPy points,all your fish tank accessories and your fish will have lost its aquired behaviour.
You should feed your fish at least once per day.
Q. I installed MOPy fish on my computer at home, now when I get home from work I spend hours
playing with it. My wife left me, the kids won't speak to me. What should I do?
A. Who needs a wife and kids when you've got a fish.
* Due to the large number of printers and applications out there, MOPy points collection may not be 100% accurate. The application has been tested against a number of Office type products for example word processors and spreadsheet programs from leading Software Companies.
Even if your applications dont score any MOPy points when you print, you will still get 40 points for each different day that you play with your fish.
Windows NT Questions
Q. Will the MOPy Fish work under Windows NT?
A. The MOPy Fish program should work just fine under Windows NT 4.0.
HOWEVER , you will need to run this patch program to enable MOPy Points Collection

Q. I'm running Windows NT 4.0 , everytime I move the mouse, the screen saver goes, how do I feed my fish?
A. This is the normal behaviour for a screen saver, to feed the fish under NT you will have
to launch the program from the start button - mopyfish group or create a shortcut to it on your desktop

Q. I can't download the aphrodisiac fish food from HP - what should I do?
A.Get it from here instead
As always, be careful to remember where you save this file, you will have to run it to install your Aphrodisiac fish food
Q. I am having problems installing my aphrodisiac food, what can I do?
A. You should make sure you are running the kissfish.exe program that you have downloaded from
www.hp.com/go/fish
Q. I downloaded your aphrodisiac fish food, however, I cannot
install it. After pressing "install", program gives the
message "Mopyfish must be installed before you can install
aphrodisiac fish food"
A. If you have have installed your fish program by running the setup program downloaded from www.hp.com/go/fish
or from this site, you will not receive this message.
If you have accidentally deleted the file mopyfish.ini from your windows directory or did not
run the setup program, you will need to create this file (use notepad) containing the following
[settings]
dir=c:\mopyfish\
If your mopyfish directory is not c:\mopyfish\ , change this line
Q. I have run the aphrodisiac fish food program (kissfish.exe) , still no fish food
From the Start Button (Windows 95) type this line
notepad c:\windows\mopyfish.ini
Delete the two lines that say expiry= and versionid=
Save the mopyfish.ini file, and then close notepad.
Now try running the kissfish.exe program again
