What are Virtual Creatures? Virtual Creatures are lifelike virtual pets for the PC. Just like the real thing, the creatures within the range need regular care and attention and are responsive to the way in which they are treated by their owner. They can become angry, sad, thirsty, hungry and if neglected they can even die. The first creatures to emerge from the VC hatcheries are a deadly pair of virtual Tarantulas. What Creatures are available? The first creatures to hatch in the Virtual Creatures range are the Mexican Red Knee and the Chilean Rose Tarantulas, soon to be followed by an Emperor Scorpion. How realistic are the creatures? Our team of digital DNA engineers went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the utmost realism of the range, spending many months closely monitoring the real thing. The result is a collection of closely observed, Virtual Creatures which display all of the key natural characteristics of their real cousins.
